Folks say there are three questions that everyone wants to know about with any all-electric vehicle...
How Far? 50 miles in normal city riding, up to 80 miles at a constant 30mph (with 5kWh battery pack)
How Fast? 60mph (with 83V battery pack)
How Much? From $5,499 (with 2.5kWh battery pack) to $6,799 (5kWh battery pack)
The REV-1 is a very user friendly all-electric motor scooter:
- It costs just 1 cent per mile in electricity usage

vehicle power sockets
- The REV-1 stops safely, smoothly and easily, thanks to "regen" brakes (just like the Toyota Prius)
- The REV-1 keeps your batteries working for the life of the scooter thanks to our Battery Management Sysetm

| Battery Management System (BMS) |
| Per cell BMS with low voltage cut off, over voltage protection and pack balancing to within 0.01 volts. The
BMS will keep your batteries healthy for approximately 2,000 charge/discharge cycles (around 75,000 miles). Should a cell
fail the BMS will notify you which cell is bad before that one bad cell can ruin the rest of your pack. |
| Bike Control Unit (BCU) |
| The BCU is the brains of the bike, it monitors the power draw from the cells and provides an accurate fuel gauge based
on your current riding style. It also provides a "reserve" supply of power to help get you home if you stray too far. For advanced users
the BCU can also be used for logging battery data and driving an advanced LCD information display. |
| Battery Charger |
| 110V / 15A on-board charger. Charge from a standard household outlet in 4 hours or less. |
| Regenerative Braking |
| "Regen" braking uses the motor as a generator during braking. This has three advantages: (1) it
recovers energy for the batteries to reuse (2) it offers improved braking (3) it offers an engine braking "feel". Our
regen is proportionally controlled via the rear brake lever and engages before the brake caliper. This gives the rider
a high level of control allowing for a smooth, efficient and enjoyable riding experience. |
| Reverse |
| A single low-speed reverse button to assist with maneuvering the bike at walking pace. |

| Frame and Running Gear |
| Frame |
| Sturdy, maxi-scooter style design for comfort with great storage capacity. We made sure to keep
as much storage space available for the rider and the bike can be fitted with an optional large rear trunk. |
